Pigeons
Pigeons have been highly successful in adapting to urban environments, and they are common in many cities around the world. These birds are able to build their nests almost anywhere and are often found on the tops of buildings, street lamps and park trees. Although their food of choice is grains, they will eat almost anything, including trash.
Pigeon droppings are the main complaint of homeowners with a pigeon problem. Pigeons tend to defecate on buildings and sidewalks, and this can create a serious sanitation problem. Pigeons have also been known to spread diseases to humans, so direct contact with these birds should be avoided if possible.
